2. New Improved Volunteer Incentives!
We have some huge new perks for our volunteers this season!
**For all of our consignor volunteers who work 8+ hours (2+ shifts), they will now get a 60% split of all of their sold items!
**For all of our consignor volunteers who work 4 hours (1 shift), they will now get a 55% split of all of their sold items!
**We have increased the length of volunteer shopping time to 2 hours on pre-sale day. This will allow the volunteers to shop without any crowds or long check-out lines. Pre-sale shopping will also begin earlier this seaon. Times are as follows:
8 Hour Volunteers 3:00pm - 10:00pm
4 Hour Volunteers 3:30pm - 10:00pm
**We will be opening the doors one hour before the public to let our volunteers have first pick of the 1/2 price merchandise. Volunteers will be able shop Sunday from 9:00am - 10:00am all to themselves!
3. Improvements to the Thursday Evening Pre-Sale Event for New Moms!
Every season we work on trying to minimize the lines on pre-sale night. Therefore, this seaon we will be limiting the the number of tickets that are sold for the New Mom's event. Volunteer and consignor shopping will also start earlier in order to avoid the large number of people at check out.
NEW MOMS:
In order to attend the thursday evening pre-sale event you must be...
*Pregnant with your FIRST child OR
*In the process of adopting your FIRST child OR
*A foster parent OR
*Is your oldest child under two years old?
AND
*You have NEVER attended a TotSwap First Time Moms Presale.
If you meet the above criteria you are invited to register for our exclusive new moms pre-sale evening which will take place on the Thursday prior to the public sale. Admission into this pre-sale event is $5. As a new mom, you are allowed to bring 1 person with you who is not a new mom to help you with your purchases, but ALL ATTENDEES MUST purchase a ticket in advance. This is a LIMITED opportunity. Tickets WILL sell out a few weeks prior the each event, so buy your tickets early to reserve your space at the sale! If you yourself do not meet the above criteria, please let your friends who do know about this event. It is a great opportunity to buy baby equipment at incredible prices. Help spread the word!!!
4. Changes to our Fall Hours!!
**In order to minimize the lines at the pre-sale night, we will begin our volunteer and consignor shopping earlier this season. Pre-sale shopping times are as follows:
8 Hr Volunteers 3:00pm -10:00pm
4 Hr Volunteers 3:30pm - 10:00pm
Consignors 5:00pm - 10:00pm
New Moms 7:00pm - 10:00pm
** Drop-off this season will now begin one hour earlier on Wednesday afternoon. Drop off times are as follows:
Wednesday 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Thursday 9:00am - 12:00pm
**We will be opening the doors one hour earlier for our volunteers on 1/2 price Sunday. Consignor pick up will also be one hour earlier this season. Sunday hours are as follows:
Volunteers 9:00am - 10:00am
Public 10:00am -3:00pm
Consignor pick -up 3:30pm - 6:30pm
5. Changes to Home Swap Home
Due to the space constraints in some of our locations, we will no longer be accepting Home Decor items in Gaithersburg or Frederick.
